The location is perfect if you are coming via ferry from another destination. Staff was helpful and courteous. Just make sure you have a pink parking ticket that allows you to leave the garage. If not, you will have to walk back to the office to obtain such.

If I could give more than 5 stars to the staff here, I would. Leo Fuentes (the manager) and the other staff were all friendly, professional and helpful. We had some questions before we ever picked up our car so we had the opportunity to chat with several different staff on different days. All of them gave us correct information and were thorough in their responses. When we rented our car, we took a drive to Salem (about 45 minutes away) and were victims of a “smash and grab”. After a very unpleasant conversation with people at the Avis location in Salem, we called Leo. He had us return the car and had another one waiting for us so we could continue our 10 day road trip. The staff at this Avis location more than made up for the frustration of the day!

Reserved a car via Costco Travel. Got a good deal for $109.72 total from 5/28-5/31 (Kia Soul or similar). I booked early so I was able to lock in this low rate. The rate later became nearly $500+ and then sold out. Picked up at this location and dropped off at BOS Logan Airport. This worked out well for us. I originally had a pick up time set at 4pm (return at 12pm) but due to a schedule change I could pick up early at 12pm. I asked the staff ahead of time and they said that was no problem. Kudos to the staff for allowing me to pick up early and didn’t give me a hard time. Car pick up process was straightforward, I was in and out of the office within 3-5 minutes. The staff only asked if I would like to purchase additional insurance (liability I remembered) and I indicated I have my own and politely declined. I signed the paperwork and she gave me the key and let me know how to get up to the garage (7th floor) to pick up the car. I got a Toyota Corolla (with all the tech/safety package) with only less than 700 miles. Nice new car (even though it already got some rear bumper damage/scratches). Very clean inside (but no floor mats). I noted down the damages with the agent at the pick up area and I was on my way out of the garage. Car drop off at the airport was also very easy. Followed the signs to the right level of the car rental center and the agent was very friendly. He checked the car and fuel level, and sent me the final invoice right away. No any additional charge, the final cost was the same as when I reserved the car. It was a very pleasant car rental experience with this AVIS location and airport dropoff. All the staff I encountered was nice and friendly. Picking up and dropping off the car were both smooth and easy. Would totally rent from this location again and recommend this location to anyone!

Yeah you can but they'll do a credit check and I think you need a deposit down if the credit check passes
There is not. Best way is a cab/uber/ public transit. Cab is like 26 dollars/ uber is like 11 to 15 depends on surge..public transit is 3dollars per person
