Can you complete your rental paying cash when you return your rental? I know I need a cc to put a hold on but wondering if I can pay cash instead of charging it?

No . U can pay with another card . Like a debit card

No cash is accepted, must pay with credit or debit.

They put a hold on your cc when you leave with the car and give you a reciept and charge your cc when you return no additional paperwork and emails your payment. My advice is to use a sperate cc only for rental and another cc or cash for other things.
