I was going to rent a Corolla but was able to get a Mustang for a similar price. When I got to the airport, they were out of Mustangs (or similar) so I was upgraded (no charge) to a Dodge Charger with a Hemi engine. It was a sick car! The customer service was fantastic both renting and returning. Love me some Budget!

90 min wait in line. Not just Budget but many other companies had long lines too. Spring break?? Could have staffed better... Quite the hike and train rides to go to and from the remote rental facility. Bringing the car back Google maps has no clue how to get you to returns. Hopefully Google will fix that. Give yourself an extra 30 to 60 minutes to drop off and finally get to the gate. Not Budget fault but an airport issue. TPA airport is crazy 🤪

First time I ever had a pleasant experience at an airport car rental agency. I didn’t wait very long at all, maybe 5-8 minutes to be helped. Customer service was great, reps were very helpful. Car was spotless (a first!) no trash, pet hair, smoke smell. Was apprehensive about renting a car seat due to Covid and cleanliness in general but was surprised all the car seats rented are brand new! Mine came fresh out of the box and only $14/day — way more convenient than lugging a bulky car seat through the airport. Would definitely rent from this location again!

DO NOT RENT. Total scam was charged for an extra day when dropped off in Hilton Head despite dropping it off on time. Also charged for gas even though it was full. Good luck ever trying to get ahold of customer service…SCAM SCAM SCAM. Vehicle was disgusting when we got it in Tampa. My sister has cancer and was so exhausted, we were at the hospital for 2 days and I couldn’t call right away. Also, pretty concerned since they clearly did not clean it during a rise in COVID. I am so disgusted with this company. Apparently that isn’t full. And if the office is closed you get charged an extra day. Stay far far away. They also go by AVIS too…I was refunded $50 for it being dirty and then most fees for the extra day but it wasnt worth it at all.

I rent often from the AP. I normally have someone follow me all the way to the rental drop-off point. After I complete, the drop off, I simply meet them at the same place of entry. If you have to drive around the building, by the time they finish dropping the car off you would be able to pick them up, again at the same point of drop off entry.
They have wheelchairs available (:
Do you accept debit card??
Absolutely. When you book your car you identity the pickup and drop off locations. I very seldom dop it off at the same location that I picked it up
If you select the option of filling the gas tank yourself, they don't tell you that you have to give the receipt when you return the vehicle. For that reason they charged you with an "estimate". For example, that happenend to me too. The tank was just 0.1 milimiter of reaching full literally and they charged me $26.00 I had to rent another car 3 months after that and one employee that.
Yes it is. At Tampa international Airport.
No, you obviously pick up at the rental car center at the airport. No wonder why no one wants to answer your question.
Elevator, and train. Wheelchairs are available upon request. Depending on where you are parked is how far if a walk to terminal.
Waited an hour in line for a car and did not get the car I was supposed to get.
Follow the signs for car rental return it is very confusing and the signs are horrible if you see anyone stop them and ask them where to get to your correct car rental agency
There should be. Budget and Avis are in the same vicinity and share rental space, lines, and associates.
Yes, the rental car center is open 24 hours. You reach the rental car area from domestic via shuttle.
They don't even ask if you were on a flight?
u
When i rented a car they just ask for drivers license and credit card. . you could call and ask.
The tram goes from budget right to the terminal. A 3 min ride
2 mins on the tram. Follow signs to rentals and once you hop on the tram it's the first stop
Yes
For my rental, which I paid fully in advance, there was a $50 fee if I cancelled more than 24 hrs in advance, but less than 24 hrs, there was no refund at all. I guess it depends on what the deal says when you make the reservation.
You got to call them quickly they will hold it for you and send it to your home address.
👍👍
I'm no remoned this company ... my recommendation take another option
You can typically do a one way rental between airport locations. It does have an increased fee associated with it
Best bet is to check www.budget.com to get a current rate quote on the size of vehicle your looking for
Yes, I think there will be extra charge. Call and check with budget
Price varies daily. Ask at the counter during pick-up or you can call them directly.
You should be able to log on the site and get your itinerary. If not call the number and they will have it.
At the airport they are open 24/7
If u got it at the same airport first time then u return it back to the same place. And if not there are sign where to go to return the rental cars at. Hope that helps you out
That may be a problem as usually they require the reservation holders card. Call and explain the situation but with all the credit card fraud going around they may not do it.
If on a USA website, it is American dollars
Don't rent from them They charge hidden fees Once it was $158
Probably they will charge you an extra day, rentals are 24 based on 24 hrs.rental
I do it all the time. Rent from TPA and return to PIE. A lot of times its actually cheaper.
It is an additional charge less than $10 but I think you can negotiate with them and they'll waive the charge.
If you're flying in, you walk to the end of the area where you claim your bags, you'll see a white wall with elevators. Just follow the instruction. It will tell you what floor you need to get to the train that will take you to car rentals. It is very easy to navigate, it's impossible for you to get lost
Tram and hold on or sit down
Take tram to second stop. It's the rental and economy lot I believe
I don't have personal experience at this pier but from what I have read in other boards your best bet is a shuttle to TPA and then pick up the rental of your choice. Enterprise does offer pickup service at the port but you still have to go to TPA to complete the transaction.
Prepay for everything and opt for purchasing the full tank that way when you get to the airport you are directed to a lane to park, leave the keys in the car and head on your way.
I was told it can sometimes take up to 3-5 business days for the correction to show up on your bank or credit card account.
Follow the signs from the traffic circle, 3rd floor, you'll have to pull up at the queue, leave the key on the dash and make sure they scan/receive the car
No, there is no limit on mileage. They will try to sell you gas, which is a good option only if you'll drive a lot and empty the tank or you'll be paying for the full tank or $14 flat per day if you drive less than 75 miles. If you don't get gas from them, make sure you fill it up before return or they'll charge $9 per gallon
You can. When you rent you'll get the option to return to your pickup location or another Budget location. You'll just choose the one that you need.
Well i call the airport car rental and i speak to someone at Avis or Budget. I believe they are affiliated together.
