Have they been nice about returning outrageous fees. Look for a 10 day van rental. Most expensive is about 500. So when I had to switch because of Orbitz they sent me with Budget instead of Dollar. Dollar rental has the same car for 398 dollars.

Also costs heavily depend on if you're adding extras like insurance coverage , automatic gasoline refill and more than one driver. I don't do those extras.
