I took a premature wild bird in the morning there because he was not able to fly or walk on his own (may be fell from the nest) they looked at it and said he's fine just leave him back where you found him. Guess what he died that afternoon! My thought after he died; they should have kept him under their suprivison and nourished him until he's able to fly on his own. Feeling sorry fir the little bird :(

If it is a wild duck and they can't fix its legs , they will humanely euthanize it so it is no longer in pain. If it is a domestic duck, take it to a vet or the spca.

I find that Wildlife Care will do what is best for the animal. It is never a mistake to take in your wounded animal for thier review.

It would be whatever is best for rhe duck. 2 broken legs make it incapable of fending for itself or foraging for food. Its hard to say without the vet looking at it. Would most likely depebd on how and where the breaks are.
