I believe it's safe re: motorcycle. My car is very low and have driven safely in and out. There is no maximum # of people per site that I'm aware of. It's first come first serve. It's definitely worth the drive. There are public bathrooms too.
My husband n I go there many times, small travel trailer, plus ford explorer we really like it, then you can go down the hill, Borrego Springs.
