I have been to this spot a couple of times and really enjoy it. We are amateur photographers and always get some great night sky photos.

Really cool dispersed campground with lots of room between sites. Unfortunate that some campers can't do without their electronic fix. One trailer close to us ran their generator for almost 18 hours. Vault toilets were clean and maintained.

Great area, fun little spot to set up for a few nights. Only giving 4 stars because the bathrooms wouldn't lock, and it was creepy to not know if someone would walk in on you in the middle of the night (especially as a woman) but it was a beautiful area. Some spots had fire pits. A lot of cholla cactus around, so keep in mind if bringing pets if they're not used to cactus if they're off leash.

Raw beauty of desert landscape. Plenty of parking. Nice views only a short hike away. When I visited in early Apr there was a wild flower bloom of cacti, desert sunflowers, desert agave and many other flowers.

Can a motorcycle drive into this spot? If so, is there a max # of people per site?

I believe it's safe re: motorcycle. My car is very low and have driven safely in and out. There is no maximum # of people per site that I'm aware of. It's first come first serve. It's definitely worth the drive. There are public bathrooms too.

No springs for fishing. Supposedly there is a short walk to a spring but I could not find it in July.
