My family camps here every year. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world. The lake is great. My kids play for hours on the floating dock. The Loones call over the lake at night and it's simply amazing. There is horse shoe pits and an amphitheater too.

Going to Lost Lake is like going home for me family. Starting with my grandma, camping up there as an infant. My dad and his siblings grew up on the lake, as did me, my sister and all of our cousins. If you want peace and quiet. If you want to feel as close to the stars as you can get, this is the place to be. Flushing toilets and a VERY clean environment means relaxing peace If you want a wild time, water skiing, water toys, head down the hill to Bonapart

We had an amazing time !! The caretaker of the campground was so compassionate when we had forgotten items he gladly helped us. The atmosphere around you is like no other we were surrounded by people who had been coming to lost lake for 18 years and let me say absolutely genuine we showered with breakfast donuts aswell as adventurous ideas to do with the kiddos while there. Was an experience we will not forget we will be back for sure ! The best part was the wildlife that could be heard and seen throughout our stay. Loons echoed through nature calling out across the lake while chipmunks playfully came to watch us set up camp , and while walking along the lake by strawberry mt trail we got to witness i believe a red snapping turtle laying eggs.(we did not disturb her as she was completing the circle of life ) The funny part was we didnt see her there while walking in, but I had taken a picture of my son and realized later after walking up on the turtle on the way back that I had to have caught a shot of her and sure enough going back through the pics i found her shell there in the background of my son I had to zoom in ..just amazing the memories we got to create by just enjoying nature and all her glory. You have not been you should go will be worth it!!
