Chelsea Makes Stuff

Sunk in the mounds of gravel in the tent area- busted a tie rod. Nosey guy in golf cart yelled at us 3 seconds after arriving to drop our stuff at our other site- without even asking who we were or what doing. Just assumes we’re breaking the law. Check out is 4 HOURS before check in and they don’t approve of you waiting ANYWHERE. No wonder there’s no one in the pool or park- probably afraid of rent-a-cops ruining their fun. If you like privacy, and friendly people this is not the campground for you.

Great facilities and affordable tent sites. If you want to splurge the cabins on the river look amazing. Cows are neighbors in the adjacent pasture so you’ll hear some moo’ing depending on where your site is at on the property. At least one accessible bathroom on the side where the tents are, the other bathrooms may also be accessible but I didn’t check.

Nice park with nice staff. All the pedestals look good and the bathrooms were small but clean 👌. Wifi not so great but I'm sure everyone was using it. Heads up the road into the park is the worst road I've ever been on pot holes everywhere.

We stayed in one of the cabins with a bathroom including a shower. When we booked the cabin, the information did say “don’t forget bedding”. We were surprised upon arrival that towels were not supplied. It would have been helpful if it would have said bring bedding and towels. We certainly did not expect thick, fancy, hotel quality towels. It would have been fine if they had come from the thrift store. Drying off with paper towels was not what we expected.
