We want to do family photos here with a photographer, website said there is a 150$ permit fee for photo shoots. Has anyone else taken photos there? 150 is steep on top of all the enterance and parking fees.

Parking is free if you take their shuttle in. $150 photo charge is for 3 hours, includes 6 paid admissions.

I believe the photo shoot permit is because of the art in the gardens.

Pretty standard practice for most venues like this.

The gardens are breathtaking and well worth the fees even if they are steep. I am a member.
