Great park right here. Play me a space 2 hang out on the grass brass. Some people were having little picnics and gatherings. Maybe one Of the best children playgrounds I've ever seen. And I have been to a lot. I brought my yoga mat and did yoga on the grass while my four-year-old played. Great spot I will be back

Very nice place for soccer, but the parking gets crazyish during tournaments. Once a parking spot is attained, it is not far from any of the fields, no matter which parking lot you use. Wind keeps the heat down, which is nice. No complaints. There is also a largish play area for kids with cool climbing things, and a seesaw. If I lived in Encinitas, this would be a go to place to take my kids.

This park is just amazing for so many different reasons: 1. Kid playground with such unusual parts like rope climbing, spinning chairs 2. Skatepark with easy to advanced levels. 3. Green patch to play your favorites games. 4. Soccer field.. well to soccer I feed. 5. A dog park, which is one of the biggest I know around (watch your steps tho) 6. Easy access and parking. Which is super important cause this park is huge and super popular. So yeah: go give it a try! Oh yeah, it’s totally huge!

Great park for kids and families. They have an awesome skate park and pool for skating. Also, tons of space for sports. One of the best parks in the county../

I drive 20 minutes because this park is so worth it. When the dog park is closed I avail myself and dog of the incredibly beautiful path that winds throughout the entire property. The path demands that the dogs be on leash (fenced dog area is off-leash) but I never feel a drive there isn't with it. And the proper maintenance of this park is why it consistently gets five stars.
Yes. There are three off leash parks adjacent to each other. One is very large and there are two smaller ones for small dogs and one for socializing new dogs. They are all very nice, however there is not much shade during the day.
No. Drinking fountain yes. As Ramona stated not for kids to run through. A lot of other fun things as stated above.

Nearest is probably the Holiday Inn Express. Most character would be one of the inns/motels in Leucadia...great restaurants and surf shops walking around there. Fancy schmancy you could go north a couple exits to La Costa Resort and Spa.
Can you ride scooters & roller skates in park?
