If we had dogs and kids and lived close to Encinitas Viewpoint Park, you better believe you would find us here every day! This park was so great! Clean, pretty views from the top hill, and the playground is fenced in for saftey from dogs and the road. We came in the evening and it was almost all shaded because the hill on the west side of the park built a barrier from the sun. I would have given this a higher rating if there were bathrooms. 📍56 East D Street, Encinitas, CA 92024 🚙Free parking on D street 💰This park is free 🎠The play structure has a rubber ground surface with shaded canopies overhead. Standard swings and a small bucket swing 🚽No restrooms 🧺Multiple picnic tables under pavilion 🪑Park benches 🏖Playground is near the beach 🌅Scenic ocean views 🖼Lawn 🌳Shady trees 🌟Clean grounds 🐶Off leash dog park 🚲Paved path around the dog park that would be fun for small bikes, scooters, and strollers 🛣Playground is fenced in so kids stay safe away from the roads

Beautiful park, yes. Stunning ocean views, yes. NO fence, so dogs can easily run into the street! NO poop bags, no water, no bathrooms. I go here when I am in a hurry to get my dog a few minutes of playtime. But there are other, bigger, better dog parks in the Encinitas area.

Beautiful park and a place for everyone, there is a playground for kids, dog area and ocean views from the upper area with picnic tables and benches to sit and a water fountain.

Pretty park. Nice views of the ocean from the higher part. The playground was recently redone with a new fence and play structure. The fence helps to keep the dogs and children separate even though both populations seem pretty nice. There are a few homeless guys that hang out there. One is pretty nice. The others, maybe not.

I agree that calling humans 'scum' is unconscionable. Will try to alert Google....
