We have a kitten that is in heat. We are low income. We want to get her fixed, but we can not afford to do it. What can we do to keep her from getting pregnant and having kittens we can not afford to care for?

Call the Portland Animal Welfare Services (PAWS). THEY ARE OPEN TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY 10-4PM. They will have you show proof of income and the they qualify you, and the Oregon Humane society calls you to bring the cat in. In the meantime, keep her locked up like in the bathroom or something. They do a great job caring for your pet. Happy New Year!!! Hope this is helpful.šŸ˜šŸ‘šŸ¤—

Call them and they can help you get her fixed

Keep her indoors until you get an appointment with PAWS.

Plz take to paws. They will see her for a year free of charge AND fix her free!! Go in and let them know your situation and they will not only do all those things but also allow you to come in for free litter and food once a month.
