(I used to intern in their office) PAW Team is there primarily for homeless and/or poverty stricken people. They also require pets to be spayed or neutered. Since you are a minor, qualification would be based on your family's income. Dove Lewis is an Emergency Animal Hospital and unfortunately, their fees are high. I don't know if this is still the case, but Banfield Pet Clinics used to have a free exam for new customers. BUT ANY TREATMENT IS NOT FREE. So that might be an option if kitty hasn't gone to Banfield before and you are only interested in finding out what's going on with kitty. Sorry this is so lengthy, but I really hope everything turns out for both of you. 🐈
Qualifications are done there. Takes about an hour including wait time. Once you've qualified, vet visits are only $5.00 per visit. Very nice ppl and very helpful.
It takes a bit. You go in at 9:30 to get in line for when they open at 10 Tue, wed, thu. Bring proof of income though you might have to have an adult do it I don't know the age limit. Once you're poked then you can make appointment. 5.00 per visit.
Have you contacted any Veterinarians near you? Some have private payment plans and some donations to help. You can find Paw Team on the internet, they can answer all your questions. Also Dove Lewis is anotee option but I'm not sure what kind of payment plan if any. Best of luck and prayers to you and Kitty.
Thanks! Your answer is awaiting moderation.
