Until you can get the help you need, I would get a no bite muzzle. I had to buy one years ago and it was great for what it is. This type of muzzle is made of durable coated wire and good sturdy leather. It allows your dog to bark, eat, drink and pant but does not allow him to bite keeping him and the public safe. Always reward go behavior with a mix of love and healthy for him treats. Pawteam has a great mix of high quality dog food that I use as a reward for my service dog. I currently buy puppy chow as she is only 9 months old. Try also talking to a veterinarian for ideas as well. Good luck with your boy. I pray your life turns around for the better for both of you.
I'm not sure they have that service but they may be able to recommend someone
I would start out with someone you trust and that dog likes and have someone bring it is a male dog or female dog it's a male dog bring a female if it's a female dog bring a male dog and and stay calm and let the other person know that could be aggressive and keep them no food no yelling and try not to act nervous because of dog acts nervous that feeds off of you so if you're in good mood or feed off of that and just give him small doses of interaction do not like a park or something so they both are on neutral ground so they don't have anything to try to protect and if you do act kind of aggressive just let him know and I'll be nice b good it's okay you know I'll talk to him and let him know everything is okay and just keep do we not until he gets better was he abused is he a rescue dog I mean it could be that the fact that dog has no place to call its own so it's really aggressive and it could be around drunk people tweakers all the time so he's on edge and he's always in fight mode
For training advice, I'd recommend calling the Oregon Humane Society's behavior helpline! It's free of charge and they will offer basic advice and suggestions on how to work with your pup. : ) The number for the OHS behavior helpline is 503-416-2983
