can you have a shed in front area of your house instead of backyard and if so, what is the set back from the sidewalk? It would be alongside the porch in the front area

Not just neighborhood but local jurisdictions have zoning codes. Most do not allow in front yard or side yard if facing street.

It's all dependent upon your neighborhood restrictions

Well I work at tuff shed. if you can dream it we can deathly build it. where you want it, we can put it there.

I had mine built in my front yard instead of my backyard. I am not sure what the set back is, but TUFF SHED should know.
