A great place to source 1/4" to 3/8" pumice for bonsai trees. This has become my new supplyer of pumice and its close to portland nursery. They have great prices, I was able to purchase 4 storage tubs about the size of a glass recycling bin for 24 dollars. Thats only 6 dollars a tub, so much cheaper than online and no waiting for shipping! The service was great and the people were friendly. I will most definitely be returning in the future.

How do you deliver soil? Can it be conveyer ed iun?

Diane Wheatley | Aug 18, 2018
Portland Sand & Gravel Co | Aug 18, 2018

Hi Diane, We deliver with dump trucks that range in size from hauling 4 cubic yards up to a large 12 yard dump truck. The material will be dumped in a pile but as long as the truck has 10 ft in width and 25 ft height clearance then the driver can unload the material as close to your project as possible. Also, we have trucks that can deliver up to 5 cubic yards each of two different materials. Our delivery hours are Monday through Saturday (until Sept) from 8am fo 3pm. Give us a call at least a day in advance of your project and we can set up a convenient delivery time for you. Hope this helps and thank you for your business! -Melissa

Hi there, We have a 1-2" clear crushed rock for $40 per cubic yard, but we do not carry decomposed granite. You might call All About Stone off SE Division as I believe they may carry decomposed granite. Hope this helps! :)
