I feel sorry for all the critters that are here. The kittens were caged and sad. I wanted to rescue them all! Other pet areas in the store were not clean and it smelled awful. I try to support local businesses, but there are some places that can do better!

New favorite pet store to go to!! Fair prices, plentiful selection of animals and supplies, and friendly staff! I always look forward to coming here every couple of weeks for my snake's frozen mice.

I absolutely love this place. If you choose to support small, family-owned businesses, this is your place.
They have supported and cared for me and the ferrets I purchased from them, even doing services for them that are not typically available through pet stores. The woman in charge of ferrets - Christine - is especially kind & knowledgeable.
I cannot recommend them enough. Would happily give them 11 stars out of 5 if I could.
PS. In the fifth picture, my girls are spelling out the word Io - one of their own names!! Would also 100% recommend ferrets as pets as long as you don't mind that they are high-maintenance & thoroughly educate yourself about them. They are WONDERFUL ESAs.
Hey SUGAR PUG! I would suggest giving them a call. They do not always have the same thing. It varies from time to time so sometimes they may have those and sometimes they may not. I would just give them a call if I were you.
I do my own research on my gecko, bearded dragon snakes and alligator. I would say that's best. But this is one of my favorite pet stores and i get a lot of knowledge from them as well!
Yes they do...they have all sizes and tend to run pretty high. You would be better off going to Tropical Hut on Division. They have an extensive collection of ball pythons at better prices.
Do anyone know if they have any kittens or cats available? Or anywhere I could find one I've been trying to find a companion kitty for my wife as she recently lost her brother .

I didn't see any kittens there yesterday but im sure if you called them they would be able to tell you
You may want to look into Rose City Hedgehogs. Local breeder, lots of good info about hedgehogs. Their care. And about keeping one as a pet. This is their website: https://www.rosecityhedgehogs.com/
It's hit and miss but they do carry spiders and scorpions. I have seen the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach and I think a centipede or two but I could be confused with another pet store. They also sell beetles, worms and cyclopes as food etc..
Sometimes but I would call ahead of time. They are very nice there!!! I've always wanted to hold a hedgehog so maybe I should call and see if they have some men so I can just play with them... LOL
Aunt Lori B 😁
I believe they WILL buy your snake...you could always check with the Humane Society too, or Dove Lewis Veterinary Hospital in NW Portland...they are EXCEPTIONAL in helping animals, I know from experience. If they can't help you they'll know where to direct you, they're WONDERFUL!!
Question:
Has anyone gotten any snakes here, I would love to know how docile they wee when you first got them, and how healthy they were when you got them.
Usually $30, but we're sold out of all guinea pigs at the moment.
Do you have hamster cages

Cockatiels can talk and whistle songs, and cost lots less. Very good companions too. Also they aren't as screamy as cockatoos. They also live long. My sister had 1 that lived almost 40 yrs! Cockatoos are very expensive and sensitive and loud. Whatever you get, have it's wings clipped so it doesn't get killed.
