I've been reading reviews about rat infestation on the grounds, I don't need to expect this at $701 per night for a garden 'junior suite' which appears to be a a one room hotel room, not a suite,

That is not true..we spent 4 nights and walked barefoot to the pools at night and never saw any rats.

I was there in March. I think there are some things that could be updated but certainly never saw rodents of any kind.

We've stayed there every summer, I assure you they do not have rats. Paradise Point is our little Heaven on Earth.

We stayed there for 4 nights over the memotial day weekend. Never saw or heard anything about rats. We stayed in a garden lanai and mission bay beachside rooms. Both were nice and clean.

We were there a month ago, never even saw a bug(inside ir out). Our room was super clean. The resort is a fixed up ol' motel, once you get onto the resort grounds you will be amazed. The desk staff were way cool w our check in. We were overly nice & they reduced our parking overnight fee w/out even asking.

I didn't see any rats and I stayed in the garden suite which had a sofa and tv area, separate kitchen and another little room.
