Yes you can BBQ on the beach as long as you are 15 ft away from any type of building is what the front desk answered when I called

Christine is right. Its alongside the beach and have seen people with a bonfire but not bbq. There is a park across the street that you can bbq and it is perfect for families. There is also a park on island (alongside of island) and seen lots of bbqing there.
They have firepits along the beach so it's a possibility
