The rooms are very nice. Balcony was lovely. I had city view, it was beautiful, especially at night. Pool is heated and plenty of lounge chairs! The pool area really makes you feel like you're on vacation. Plenty of places to sit and relax around the hotel indoors and outdoors. Bad things- car parking is underground and very far, city is LOUD and could not sleep due to train warning bells/chime "DING-DING-DING-DING!! " The elevators were hard to catch, or they were FULL of people. Overall I do recommend this place for the pool and close walking distance to everything.

Here’s the upside. Great view of the harbor. Great pool area. Clean rooms. Here is the downside. My room was noisy. I don’t mean that I could hear my neighbors. I mean it everything had a noise to it. The main issue was that the a/c sounded like an old motorcycle engine when cycling on, which makes for a lovely evening of being woken up every so often when it sputters on. So you have to turn it off…until the room gets hot and stuffy…and the cycle continues. There is no room service for this hotel. Everything is done from a canteen / convenience store on the first floor. I guess that’s the result of being a massive hotel next to the convention center. Sometimes you just want a bottle of water and you don’t want to get dressed again, go downstairs, and wait in line to get it, especially when you pay hotel prices for it anyways.

Great location for attending conferences at San Diego Convention Center. Convenient to Seaport Village and harbor activities. Nice view from room. I recommend rooms that face the harbor as the street side can be noisy if you're a light sleeper. As for service, the staff were very good except for when I asked that the dirty a/c filter be changed in the room on Saturday and had to ask again on Monday when it was finally done.

Beautiful hotel and a wonderful staff. If you're considering grabbing a bottle of wine from their convince area save yourself the money and go to Ralph's (walking distance). They didn't have price tags on their wine, but it was $45 per bottle that I got. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I love a good omelet station. Plenty to choose from. Staff in here was super nice and helpful. Outside seating was a little chilly and the put the heaters on for us. The view from the 21st floor is incredible! Pool is heated, but was still too chilly for my little one. She was happy to check out the hot tub. Love love love the fire pit tables around the pool for the end of the day. Free charging for electric vehicles, but there are only 4 stalls. It's a slow charger so it took about 9+ hours for us to get a full charge. Great location, plenty of things in walking distance!

I took a bus there from the hotel took 5 minutes tops
All employees wear masks but around 50% of the guest only wear them
The heat was on in mid-October... The pools were really nice, best ones we could find on the city side.
Fancy Hotel with large convention centers, outdoor pool and boat marina.
Yes
Mission beach is 15 min away and uber will cost you about $10
Santa Fe.
Just tell them you don't have a car...the parking is wide open right now because the hotel is only at 20-30% capacity... sometimes the gate is even open...
Ask for suite 1141 or 1441 call the hotel directly...south Tower...there nice and have great views..
Approximately 0.5 miles 👍
Well I mean you're in downtown San Diego anywhere your Parker you're going to have to pay its downtown, the Convention Center parking $15 a day with no In-N-Out privileges however the hotel parking without valet I think it's $20 a day with in and out privileges as long as you have your room key
The convention center is next to the hotel.
not in my room...
Luggage storage is available near the Front desk at the Main entrance. Tipping the Bell man is customary.
Just under 3 miles. It is a 13 minute drive. If you are planning on walking, it is a slight uphill walk to the zoo that takes about an hour. San Diego also has a lot of ride share drivers and also has scooters/bikes that are available for rent all over the city.
Between the convention center (which is next door) and the hotel. There's a circle drive for people being dropped off by taxis and such then just past that is the public parking. You can pull up the circle drive and ask one of the employees waiting outside.
They don't have a shuttle which is surprising as other hotels nearby do
No shuttle service but is a cheap uber ride as long as it is not rush hour
I believe the other responses are incorrect. The hotel itself DOES NOT provide airport transportation, but it is a short taxi or Uber ride, private airport shuttle are available, and public transport (bus then trolley) is easy and inexpensive.
No coin op laundry
Yes it's the green line trolley and the Marriott is right next to the convention center. Very nice hotel.
The official late checkout time depends on your status with Marriott but you can always ask for what you need. The worst they can say is no. Same with early check-in. The latter, however, really depends on whether they have your type of room cleaned and available. It's perhaps best to call ahead if you know your arrival time just to give them the best chance to prepare.
The hotel does not, but there is an independent vendor on the harbor, near the pool, that has bikes and Surreys.
All of the above! There is something for everyone either in the hotel or within a short walk.
You need to contact the hotel directly to find out that information.
