You cannot beat the location of this motel, it is just steps away from the beach. The check in process was very strange, we went to the place we thought was the office on-site only to be directed to a office that was completely another block away from this facility. We had to walk with our luggage down another block further than we were already, we just wanted to rest after having a long day of traveling. I did not have high expectations as I normally stay at Motel 6, however Motel 6 is about 95% cleaner than this place. The layout was ok of room. There was not a luggage rack to open to put your suitcase on, we made due with using a chair to keep the suitcase off the ground. There was a mini refrigerator that was located inside of the "closet", the freezer was unusable, the refrigerator barely fit 2 small to-go containers with leftovers from a meal. The floors everywhere inside of our accommodation were not swept or washed on our arrival, which was gross but we just kept our shoes on at all times while inside, especially in the shower. Speaking of the shower, there was hair on the wall inside the shower, it was long meaning it did not come from me or my traveling friend, our hair is much shorter. Upon getting into one of the beds the first evening, I climbed in and felt wetness. I crawled back out and pulled back the sheets only to find a wet spot as if someone got out of the shower and it soaked complete through to the mattress. The wetness was not felt on the comforter, they must've had it pulled back at the time. This also led me to believe the sheets were not laundered between the last set of occupants and ourselves, which was disturbing. The baseboards were missing in areas throughout the inside of room, bathroom, and closet which allowed bugs easy access to come inside from inside walls which they did inside the closet and bathroom. Upon all of these things mentioned that we noticed we immediately brought it up with management and asked for another room, they said nothing else waa available as they were booked out. I don't mean to knock this place so bad, but I give honest reviews and I always have and I always will.

Conveniently located within walking feet of the beach. The location alone will give a 5 star. Located within walking distance to beach, restaurants and bars. Pacific beach offers an active night life and plenty of places you can walk amd sight see with kids or others. The rooms I would rate a 2.5 it appeared much nicer on the pictures than what was given. The outside of the hotel needs a much needed upgrade in paint and looks a bit run down. They did offer free parking and had carport and outside parking to chose from. The stairs case to the upstairs rooms had some wood pieces missing and lots of trash left in bins in the corners of the staircases. The hotel can be a lot cleaner than what it was. Our room was clean but upon further entering we noticed towels had hair on them and the toilet seat was dirty. The chair in our room had crumbs all along the edges of the seems. Coffee maker was not working and hair dryer was not available in room. Was expecting the room to be cleaner for a Deluxe 2 queen bedroom. I did have to call for extra toiletries and they said they would send them however, we never received them. We didn't spend much time in our rooms but if we would of had to I would probably would not stay here. The location and convenience to surrounding activities/beach front really makes up for the lack in room. Was expecting more out of the room based on the pictures. The pictures online are obviously made to look 10x better than what it actually is.

Great location, Great price. Perfect for staying at the beach. Very close to pacific and can walk straight down to Mission. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Have to walk to Pb surf next door for their 24 hour desk for items needed. Overall, would recommend for a beach vacation. Short 25 minute drive to Midway! I had a great stay!

Recently stayed in December 2021 for the weekend - a little get away. The hotel room was spacious clean and less then a 1/2 block from beach. They have free parking and you feel safe . The rooms were clean and had a little kitchen area which was perfect. The staff was super kind and very helpful with anything you may need. I feel this is a fun and safe place to stay and you are so close to beach / boardwalk / restaurants and many shops. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay again.
