We stayed for 12 days as San Diego was our first destination after living overseas. We have always enjoyed our stay at Hilton properties. This one is hopefully the exception. To start, I was very pleased with the services I received especially when the manager was able to squeeze us in. Upon check in after traveling for 36 hours, I was so glad to be greeted by Ms. Kim. She was so welcoming and again I am so glad that she was who checked us in. I was so reluctant of what services would be like after living in another country where hospitality is everything. Throughout our stay, Kim was always very warm and welcoming. It was like coming home when she was there. She greeted my family every time with a gracious smile. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about everyone else. During our stay, I noticed others weren’t as cordial. When we needed to change rooms because a piped burst leaving the carpet drenched, the front desk made it seem like we were a burden to them. They moved us, but it was as if we were inconveniencing them. When we got to the new room, it was an ADA room. I assume no one who actually needed it, needed it. But also, I know these rooms are generally cheaper. However, our rate stayed the same. In the new room, there was an employee name tag with the pin unhooked up against the foot of the bed so we couldn’t see it. Of course, one of my children stepped on it. Thankfully not hard enough to break skin. When I brought the name tag back, and told the front desk what happened, the girl just said oh sorry. I would have at least liked if she asked if they were ok. Checking out, I wasn’t acknowledged. Although I was standing there for quite a few minutes. It would be nice if the people who choose to work in hotels are hospitable but I guess that’s not everywhere.

This place was gross. Within 5 minutes of being in my room a kid jumped into my terrace space. There is what looks like mold in the corner ceiling in the bathroom. You can hear everything, even simple conversations in the room next door. There was hair hanging from the ceiling in the hallway outside my room the entire time I was there. Dirty sheets and towels sat in the hallway carpet floor for hours. The gym needs better ventilation, you could smell and feel the sweat pouring out of the room. Everyone at the Front desk was very nice and helpful. But this place needs a room and hallway renovation. At least, start with a very deeeeeeeep cleaning.

We had a very pleasant stay here! From the absolutely incredible cookies, to the wonderful hospitality, we give a huge 5 stars! Our fridge had an issue and we lost the food we had in it, which was a major bummer. But when we called to let the front desk employee know, she was so accommodating and kind. She gave us a beverage/food credit and my kids were able to get milk and breakfast items for free. The pool area, which includes a bon-fire area, was super inviting and clean. They have an entire area above the pool, which has tables and is lit with pretty lights at night. Lastly, my family can’t say enough good about Kim. Kim made a lasting impact on our lives. Her kindness and warming spirit touched us all greatly. She talked to our kids everyday and we looked forward to seeing her! Hilton, she needs a raise ASAP!!! I shed a tear when we left because we are genuinely going to miss her!

Hotel clerk was very friendly when checking us in. The lobby had a little store where you can buy drinks and bottles of wine. Room was comfortable and I loved how the room had a window wall. It was a nice hotel the only thing that I didn't like was the carpet kind of felt icky but overall the sittings areas outside was nice and there is no additional charge for parking. Housekeeping did knock around 9 am so if you don't want to be disturbed, do not forget to put the sign on the door. Overall hotel was good.

Did you contact the hotel and ask? Probably housekeeping would be best to check with.
No, there is not.
Kids free but for my friend and myself it was 20 bucks which is cool
This hotel has it's own parking garage which you must have a room key or code to use
24 hours, Self-care Enter by room card As my experience
Holiday Inn would have been a better choice
I'm not sure why you think the hotel must have coffee in the lobby. Most hotels do not offer complimentary coffee in the lobby. The room has a coffee maker for sure.
Most hotels have a deposit upto $250
