Arrived at check-in at 3. Was told room wasn't ready and come back in 30 min. Ok.. 30 min goes by and we come back and still not ready. Told to try again in 30 min... this goes on for another hour. We decide to sit in the lobby and tell them to let us know when it is ready because we are tired of leaving and returning. About 10 min goes by and they tell us they have a different room ready...it isn't facing the ocean but facing the pool. Yes.. please! I wish I could remember the lady who helped us.. she was very pleasant. Anyways, the rooms are fine but the beds are terrible! For only 109.00 a night I'll take a terrible bed to be able to have a hotel on the beach.

Popular hotel. Pool is nice, parking lot is full, breakfast is fruit, oatmeal, and bagels everyday except for waffle days. Convenient for short stay, really tough for extended stays. Rooms only cleaned every four days is challenging as well, especially with little kids who tend to be messy. I’d happily clean up after them, but you can’t get a broom or vacuum to clean in between.

I'll finish my review after my stay but the one star is for this idiotic shower design. In order not to completely flood the entire bathroom, you have to turn the shower head, FROM THE CENTER (where it is mounted) of shower to the right end, putting your body into a tiny corner. The head should be on the end, for this size shower. There should be a wall on the shower floor, and not this miniscule piece of fiberglass. If you keep the shower head facing the way it is designed to be faced, every ounce of water goes outside the shower. The curtain is a complete joke because of the way it is hung, it does nothing but wrap around your body. GROSS!!! You may have meant to have a sleek, modern look but you did nothing but make a disaster. For that reason alone, regardless of how wonderful the staff may be or how beautiful it is, I will never stay here again.

One of the best Military hotels I have stayed in. Continental Breakfast. Pool, and beachfront. It's a little over a half mile walk to the back gate (open 6 to 6), and another three quarters of a mile to hotel Del Coronado. There is a little convenience store in the lobby that has some beer and wine, as well as snacks and drinks, plus a few souvenirs. Great staff. No complaints at all.
