Park rules state do not attach anything to the trees

You would need to have enough room and better safe then sorry. I WOULD ask

Id ask at the ranger station when you come in. But most places wont let ypu because somebtypes of straps damage trees and thats the last thing anyone wants.

If you're going to hang a hammock I would recommend using nylon straps that do not damage the trees.

We were there last week they had a rule about not tying anything to the trees

There is a full campground. Lots of trees but none on the beach.
