Is there decent cell service?

It's okay. Some spots you lose signal. Otherwise good, they have free wifi close to some stations like by the restaurant near the beach for example.

The service is excellent in the camping areas and in an around the service area. The beach near the service area is good but the futher you move away on the four miles of beach the weaker the signal.

Overall St Augustine Beach okay lots of patchy areas as you get into the neighborhood.

I get good service on the beach closest to the parking lot but the further north you walk, the more spotty it gets

Yeag. I have verizon and i had service evrywhere. They also habe wifi hotspots all ovet the park.

Depending on your service provider MetroPCS and T-Mobile are pretty good AT&T is spotting I think Verizon is probably the best. Just be careful on your roaming charges if your cell phone provider charges you roaming fees.
