Hi I'm from Texas and it's my first trip out here. Is there an admission fee to view the place and what would I need to wear. In Houston Texas is noooo mountains whatsoever lol and I totally don't have any experience please let me know thank you.

There is no fee. Very beautiful area..As one lady said above a be prepared for summer Thunderstorms. Go see Buffalo Bill's grave and all that stuff. Have fun.

It's free to visit the mountain and they have a gift shop and snack bar. The view is amazing and you can see the Coors factory! When I visited we went from the mountain down to Golden and visited the town and Coors. Makes for a perfect day.

I went there in March and there was no admission fee. As far as what to wear, I would say just casual walking outfit, jeans/shorts, t shirt, sneakers. I would check weather beforehand.
