Tough climb for foothills mountain. Elevation: 7877 feet. Beautiful views. Walking sticks were helpful. Some class 3 climbing for a short distance. Great workout for legs & lungs. This trail could be treacherous when wet. My stats: 1.87 miles to top of 2,015 feet vertical gain. Happy trails!

Mount Morrison is a short distance (3.5miles) but the elevation gain is 2,153ft it’s not easy climb.

Nice hike, just a short drive right outside Denver. It was strenuous, but totally doable. No shade, unless you seek it from a random tree. Short scramble section, but mostly flat. Nice view of Denver and Red Rock/ Amphitheatre from the summit. The parking, located off Titan Rd. was a bit ambiguous, I just pulled to the side, before the gate. Have fun!
