No. Not that I recall. The main rooms are furnished in a French style- as that was the origin of the original owner. But most of the furnishings aren’t original- but are from the period.
There is no taxidermy in the big house. During the tour we were informed that the family went bankrupt at one point and sold off many of their belongings. There is not much in original furniture or belongings.
Didn't see any
Thank you so much! I know it's a weird phobia, but I am terrified of them

No
You have my curiosity up, why do you ask?
This is a," National Landmark" and that means it is part of US History. Thankfully it is maintained as such. Even has a family cemetery. There are 28 columns and 28 Live Oaks and nobody knows why 28. They had photographs of the original slave dwellings and those have been rebuilt and furnished appropriately. Some grand interiors appropriately furnished are in this house. Hollywood loves Oak Alley and movies, soap operas, music videos have all filmed here. It is a very photogenic place. It is referred to as,"Iconic", because u know u have been to a real plantation when u go there. The original name the builders gave it was not Oak Alley! People passing on steamboats gave it that English nickname. The French speaking family who built it named it," Bon Sejour" or Good Rest in English.
