The water was too high to go in the hole, but just a beautiful walk along the beach. The trees were so tall and eerie looking.

Great morning tide pooling! Easy walk along the beach. Sketchy footing on the volcanic rock at hole in the rock so bring some shoes.

A nice stroll down the beach loaded with great tidepooling and interesting rock formations. To go through the hole, you must arrive at low tide. Unfortunately, so does everyone else. Expect a host of others enjoying the same stroll and a wait for pictures unimpeded by strangers. If you have a hiking stick/pole, it will be very helpful for keeping your balance while walking on the seaweed covered rocks near the hole.

Well worth the hike. Time your hike to low tide, otherwise it's just a rock in the ocean. At low tide you can walk through and see the tide pools. There is a ridge trail if you get stranded.

no. You cannot camp on the beach at all.
Rialto Beach is the fastest way to access the Hole-in-the-wall. You can access it from other beaches north of Rialto, via the Pacific NW Trail
Highly doubt it. I have At&t and my gf has Verizon. We were just there and didn't get service until halfway back to Forks.

No. Dogs not allowed past Ellen Creek which is about halfway to HITW. Beyond is a preserve with seals, sea lions, sea otters, etc. Dogs can be deadly. Rangers will ticket owners.
Yes, it is a bit of a trek up the beach. You may need to cross a stream, and sometimes a jumble of driftwood. It is easiest at low tide.
