Nice beach. Enjoyed the afternoon. Beach 4 is little tricky while getting down - there is a rope with which you need to climb down after a short walk. Another plus : Not too crowded

One of our best experiences in Olympic National Park. Made it there for the second lowest tide of the year, and the sea life was incredible. Word of caution: getting down to the beach from the trail requires scrambling down some steep rocks.

Beautiful. We had just about the whole beach to ourselves. Magnificent views and many places to explore. It's just a short hike down from the parking lot to the beach. The path down is mostly stairs and in good condition. There is one place where you have to climb down a steep rock, but it's only about 4 feet and there is a rope to hold on to.

The beach was very unique with dark sand and when the waves hug the beach it was beautiful like a B&W photograph. After visiting few other beaches in the Washington coast i realized most of the beaches have dark sand. The shore also had lot of drift woods that added a nice character to the beach. It also had beautiful bluffs that gave a nice perspective of the ocean. The huge trees and sea grass offered nice green views to the shore. Overall it's a great place to visit and i highly recommend this place.

Yes, the natural world doesn't operate on man-made hours, and this area is freely accessible as all beaches should be.
There is no camping at Beach 4. Several miles south there's a campground at Kalaloch. You may be able to get reservations there at recreation.gov
