One of the most beautiful rivers we seen while traveling the state. A must stop. Water was amazing and the fishing was good.

Absolutely wonderful campground. Need your discover pass. There are a few sites you can get a bigger RV in if they are open. The view and the way it's set up is so nice! Bathrooms could have been kept a little nicer at the time.

First time here not bad, got lucky with a spot next to the river hoping for some fishing, but it was too cold and raining. I do see us coming to this area again in the summer time tho.. we recommend not getting a spot down hill when it's raining season we didn't think about the flooding we just thought.. (look nice spot and people can't see us camp), but didn't think about down hill and it start to rain.. overall experience we had a great time. Definitely be back FREE FREE!!! CAMPING with Discovery Pass REQUIRED..... Restroom is available but we recommend bringing your own. FREE CAMPING FIRST COME FIRST SERVE... we seen only 10 campsite.

Nice sit for a camping trip. Get there early - one of the few easily accessible free camping sites on the Peninsula. There is a single toilet on the site, but no potable water (you can filter the river water if you want). Forks is not far if you need groceries, gas, firewood, and so forth.

This campground is free and open year round as I stay in the winter here, you just need a Discover Pass. Its first come first serve, only about 8 camp sites. Theres also another campground just like it about 45 minutes north on 101. I believe it's called Bear Creek Campground (maybe 15 campsites) if you cant get a spot at Oxbox. Then theres Klahowya campground 10 minutes past Bear Creek. All are beautiful, Klahowya is the largest but I believe theres a fee if it's open now, usually closed when I'm in the area. Other 2 are open year round.

Free with a discover pass? Clearwater river good fishing?
