The good: the host was friendly and helpful. The fire pits were an excellent design (great airflow). We enjoyed the river access for swimming and fishing. The bad: the camp site is next to a highway, so every weekday the trucks started rolling around 4 am and woke me up (kids slept thru). The bathrooms were clean when we arrived mid week, but by the weekend, they were out of toilet paper and needed service.

No potable water here, bring water. Very basic. Gravel tent area, semi-truck rim for a fire pit, and honey buckets for latrines. One way in/out, with a small loop to turn around at the end of the campground road. It was just enough for me, but my wife would have hated it. Mosquitos were small and not very aggressive when I was there.

I stayed at this campsite a few weeks back and although it was very wet and muddy I enjoyed every minute of my stay! As far as I can tell all of the sites could hear the river, most of the sites could see the river, and a few had direct access to the river. This is a very primitive campground so if you’re looking for somewhere that has VERY Limited amenities (this was made clear by the owner in the listing) this is the is campground for you! If you want somewhere where you can relax, fall asleep every night listening to the sound of the river and just get away from everything, then don’t miss this little campground! FYI: the entrance into the campground itself is a little difficult to find so if you’re coming from Forks look to your right because the signs sits pretty far back off the road, if you’re coming from the opposite direction look to your left after you pass the building with the Sasquatch.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. This campground married my husband's style of being away from it all no hook up to my glamping style. We rented one of the trailers it was perfect for the 3 of us but had room for at least 2-3 more. The trailer was all set up for us when we got there. The trailer had the essentials for us like pillows, sleeping bags, some dishwear, towels, and a few toiletries. It was very clean and comfortable. The campground its self had very clean porttapotties in a great central location, the kids enjoyed the playground and tetherball. Every spot we saw was clean and well maintained. There are firepits and wood available to buy by the bundle. It was a short walk to the river where you can swim and try out some fishing. The location of this campground was perfect for us! Close enough to some great ocean characters as well and river characters (Mitch the owner is a great river fishing guide, very knowledgeable, we will be back at peak season for a full day trip with Mitch for sure) Mitch (the owner) was very friendly and great to work with, very down to earth and over all nice guy. Great experience and look forward to returning!

Yes. Porta potties are the only downside of this campground. Aside from that there is plenty of room and some nice river front to play around
No electric, but generators are allowed. Also mitch has a portable water truck backed into a spot. Sani cans, and garbage service.
