Great wooded campsite, easy location and close enough to Forks to buy everything we forgot. There was some road noise, so if you’re tent camping I’d recommend somewhere further out.

Beautiful campground, lush, clean grounds, clean facilities, courteous staff, private sites. However, campgrounds are very close to Highway 101 and the noise from the road is very noticeable from many campsites. I was in site 40 and the noise was distracting, and does continue through the night. Something to consider.

Perfect park for a 100° day! River close to the bridge is wide, deep, and slow. And the perfect swimming temp. Tons of rocks for building whatever you want. Saw thousands of frog eggs, watched them hatch into little tadpoles.

Another beautiful Washington State Park campground. There are many wonderful private camping sites, and some nestled along the river. Just a few minutes away from Forks and the Hoh Rainforest makes this a great weekend camping spot. The bathrooms are clean and don't require a code. There are showers and firewood on site from the camp boss. Awesome hiking and river access!

Agree with Tim. The tokens are good at any WA state park. I believe you get 2 tokens for $1. There are separate men's and women's showers.

Even on a sunny day the air is wet- make sure your tent has a rain fly, and put anything tht you don't want a thick layer of dew on inside your car at night. It gets cold and damp as soon as the sun goes down, regardless of how warm the day is. Bring an extra blanket and have fun!
