Very nice aquarium. They have different show times for the dolphins and the sea lions. Definitely get to the showings like 20mins early for good seating. They have lots of cool marine life like, sharks, penguins, fish. You can also do hands on marine visitation as well. We spent about 3 hours here so definitely plan accordingly. Would come again.

We enjoyed our time at the Gulfarium! It was extremely packed for a beautiful day and the entrance was a little confusing on where to go to see everything but once we got the hang of it it was quite enjoyable. The dolphin show was amazing. The sea lions were so funny! The store was full of all kinds of memorabilia from your trip. We highly recommend taking your kids to see this!

A little shabby and, frankly, sad aquarium but the kids really enjoyed it and it appears that the place is being expanded and refreshed soon. We liked that the aquarium was right on the beach. We also liked that it was clean and had a sea turtle sanctuary/rehabilitation center. The dolphin enclosure seems very small and outdated. Admittedly we didn't attend the show so we didn't hear anything about the handling and how the aquarium acquired the dolphins. What is really cool is that they have an albino alligator! The concession stand seemed reasonable for the location and when I walked past families dining, the food looked respectable. The gift shop was as to be expected but wasn't outlandish. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

This place had a couple really fun entertaining shows. It was worth going at least once. I think of I had young kids I'd definitely take them here. Oh course it's not a Sea World, but the staff do a really good job with answering any questions & presenting the animals. We spent over 4 hours looking around & seeing shows. It was raining on & off when we went. Most of this place is open, but they do have a lot of areas that are covered.

Hi Sherry, we do not allow outside food or beverages into the park. We have our Dive-In Eatery where you can purchase food and drink s or you can leave the park for lunch and return on the same day by showing your admission receipt upon re-entry.
Great question, I'm not totally sure. BUT they say the save them. I feel like there is more shady things than that going on. Bottom line, animals are sad and enclosers are too small.
Yes. They will be closed on Thanksgiving day but will reopen Friday
Not really line isn't that bad and they move pretty fast
Yes it is. The have very good accommodations for wheelchairs, walkers, etc
Yes a ver cute show. Sitting on the bleachers puts you about the plexiglass. Two sea lions and trainers do a good job. Funny to watch.
Yes
Well, the staffs is nice. They don't ask lots of detail so you can just show up your ID and pay for all of your "family members".
I don't know, but I would say yes.
Currently we offer the Dolphin Splash Program. This does allow guests to get in the water with the dolphins but it is a wading program. You are standing stationary and the dolphins swim up to you. You are able to pet, feed, and do some behaviors with the dolphins.
Yes, my son is 3 and he loved it. Even my 13 year old son and my 15 year old nephew enjoyed it. Its great for all ages!!
We watched the dolphins show and the sea lions show. They were both about 20-30 minutes each. Be sure to get seats early if you want a good spot.
You can spend as much time as you want. It probably takes over and hours to briefly hit everything
Well for me, my aunt, and uncle it was 60 with military discount...but you should go to the website to see
23 you and 16 for the kids
I didn't notice any
Thats sad and rude of her. This matter should be dealt with. And im sorry this happened
All ages my kids are 10 yrs apart(18,9,1) they all enjoyed themselves
You have pay extra for different extraction.
I already think they have answered your question enough. I also advise you to call and the same aquarium will respond to your concerns and doubts.
Hi Robin, currently our dolphin shows are at 12pm and 2pm. You can view our full schedule at www.gulfarium.com/hours_schedule.
They are. Most of its covered as well
Yes per person. They do however have small groups for a wee bit less
Hi Jen, thanks for your question! We are open all year round. We only close on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
When we went in June staff was wearing masks but visitors were not. My family was wearing masks and felt very uncomfortable with the lack of social distancing during the shows.
No
Dolphins, Sting Ray's, sharks, sea turtles, otters, sea lions, seals, a bunch of saltwater fish, a few snakes, gaters, birds, and a small place where you can touch sea stars and other gentle creatures. They have a few shows as well.
Hi Dave, We currently have our Senior Wednesdays! General admission for anyone 62+ is just $7. This offer ends on 2/26/20.
You can tell by the interaction of the employees and the animals that there is a lot of care and love between them. The facility is very well maintained. When we left there, I did not feel a bit of distress that the animals were unhappy or not taken care of.
Not to be rube but, What does this have to to do with the Gulfarium?
You can pay for the encounter cash or credit card when you get your passed the gulfarium
Any day is good. They are cheaper certain days!
I think it say not to but I saw lots of people with sports drinks and gas station cups and no one said a thing.
If you need dog. Tell them. See what they said
It is an option and if I remember correctly it was around $150
I dont recall each individual price, but I believe the prices listed on the website was accurate. I paid $85 for two adults and two children under 10. Our infant was free. Was it worth it....umm sort of. We were on a small vaca/birthday celebration so yes. If I lived nearby, no.
Hi Bernice, Our Sunset Camp is for children aged 6 to 14 years. For more information, please visit www.gulfarium.com/sunset_camp Thank you!
Hours are daily from 9am-4:30pm. There are no scooters for rent.
About half and half. Most is covered though by some sort of roof
Hi William. You do not have to purchase tickets online, you can buy your tickets here onsite once you arrive. We are currently offering a 50% off admissions special for active duty or retired military every Saturday and Sunday November through February. Those tickets are available to purchase onsite here at the park with a valid military ID. Regular price for seniors is $22.95 plus tax, so it would be 50% off of that.
Yes .. It's good to be visit. I went there with my family.....my son liked it
Yes you can. You have to check out the times of it and how much extra it is for it. Online you can find all this info.
Yes. There is a lot of cover and you can watch the dolphins swimming from inside.
If you're staying somewhere local you can find coupon books in some of the hotels or condos. Its usually only a couple dollars off though
I didn't see any, but I'm sure you can call and ask
Yes
Yes
It was about $42 for one adult and one child. I think $30/$20 plus tax.
My husband, my child and I we paid almost $70.It was $25 for one adult.
I'm pretty sure you can, but you can't bring in drinks with straws. And you can't feed any of the animals. Hope that hellps.
That is what we used it for weeks ago and had a great time
It's worth checking out the facility
They do. I'm sure they will be happy to tell you all about Gulfaruim.
mostly yes ...it was so much fun we lived it....you and the family will enjoy
I believe Brianna Vass is correct. Do to the nature of some of the open display natural habitats, it could possibly be problematic
Ft Walton Beach area will be cheaper than Destin & only a bridge separates the two.
Not a large tank with lots of animals. They are all in separate habits.
Yes
