I traded a Ram 2500 for a 1500. I’ll start by saying my salesman is a nice guy. That said, this was the first and last purchase I will make with Step One. Terrible customer service. No one was willing to do anything to make the experience a great or even good experience. Everything was “no that’s not how we operate” not once was I told yes or was anyone willing to step up and go an extra mile or make sure I was satisfied or happy with the transaction. It was a very lazy not even mediocre transaction. I have another vehicle to trade in and they definitely will NOT be getting my business. Also, the truck I bought wasn’t even cleaned, they just Armer all’d the seats, dash, and half the tires, left a nice chip in the windshield, and the truck smells like smoke inside, there’s also many areas left with dirt and gunk. Additionally, the truck came with a broken key fob which they weren’t willing to replace, claiming they cost $400 and the dealership doesn’t have the money to replace it for me. I have to do it myself. Also, they put new tires on the truck but didn’t even put the tired on that it comes with. It’s a Rebel and is supposed to have off road tires or at least all terrain... not road tires. Awful. I wouldn’t mind if the GM reached out to me and at least offered to send me a new fob, replace the windshield, pay for a detailer to come clean the truck up, and put the right tires on the truck.

My husband bought a used vehicle and was told nothing was wrong. Not even 2 weeks it needed new transmission and was told it was his fault since he had it 1 1/2 weeks!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. They don't even try to rectify the situation and allow my husband to make a decision if he wanted to buy an expensive truck with issies!!!

Do not trust the positive reviews. The sales team bribes purchasers to give them a 5/5 star review at the time of purchase. Terrible management, terrible service, and very expensive. Trust me, go somewhere else! Your wallet and patience will thank you.

terrible customer service!! i have 3 vehicles that i have bought from the ft. walton beach location and i have always taken my cars into get serviced and they always take forever to work on my vehicle. the last time i took it was to have a bug deflector looked at because it was a bit cracked and wanted to see if it was still covered under warranty and they said no which was ok but the fact that they completely broke it off after looking it at it and then not wanting to take responsibility for it was wrong. i dropped off on a Monday morning and didn’t get a response about it until Friday saying that they were not going to cover it. I went to pick it up and half of the bug deflector was completely broken off. I spoke to them that i was not happy about it and i asked to speak to the supervisor and i spoke to KEVIN HESTER i believe his name was and he wasn’t any help at all all he said was that if your so unsatisfied with the customer service why do you keep coming back. terrrible terrible terrible. Days later i noticed that there were also damages inside my vehicle. The ripped the leather on two doors.
