You can't miss them. It's massive. Drive in to the park to the dunes lot and you are right there but do it early.
Bring bug spray. The skeeters are crazy. Sunglasses for everyone in your group will help as the wind can kickup the sand sometimes. The park is a long way from anything so be prepared for everything. Its gorgeous though so spend some time and enjoy it!

One to two hours unless you want to climb the dunes and/or sled the dunes...add an hour.
We had our 7 and 9 year old. Hour or two was plenty for us.
If u just want to see you can do it fairly fast an hour or two but I would plan on an all day trip take water lunch and a sled
I'd budget at least 2 hours inside the park.
