I don't understand the question about medical rates. We were there in August and felt the rates were higher than they were worth for the accomodations. The property is at the far end of town. Very far for walking. There was a transit/ bus/ trolley service that was close and useful. The rooms are in need of some upgrades and better housekeeping. It was ok but would not stay there again.
No way
Not sure what the cost of medical rates at a Hotel means. If your asking about the rates they charge to stay, then that depends on time if year and if there is anything going on in Downtown Charleston. I've paid from $159-$300 a night.
