How the fishing? How many spot are fish friendly in the park? Can you fish at the beach? What species of fish can you catch here? Coming up for a weekend in July and bring some family and friends.

I have four siblings and we all love to fish! We didnt bring to much gear because we were really there for the lake. No-one fishes on the lake, its pretty much for swimmers but in the area we went on a river ride where we got a few kayaks and canoes and there were fish in there. We didn't catch any but im sure you could catch something. As for tha campground.... Theres not really places for fishing because thr lake is right there. Goodluck and have fun! Its so beautiful and the sunsets everynight are outrageously gorgeous!

While the fishing is great in the area, I don't know about fishing from the beach. In July, the beaches are packed and is quite rocky the further out you go. Maybe via kayak or boat would be better. Hope that helps. Cheers
