Reviewing on in times of Covid: well preserved area and a nice nature stroll. The trail comes close to the lake but there’s not really access to it. All paths are flat in accessible to most.
West Vanderstappen
Wide trail, variety of trees, lots of pine/evergreen. Beware, east side of the lake is flooded and you will have to trek through some brush to get past so be prepared if you to that route, you can always turn around.

Its nice but it can be hard to find seclusion if that's what you're looking for. Its gotten so populated you can't even find a trail anymore that isn't already being used by a bunch of people.
You just need a hunting license.
