How far a Subaru outback can reach? Planning to go with my 5 year old kiddo, want to cover as much distance by car so thar she doesn't make face while going there.

First time I went there was in a Subaru Outback wagon. Second time I drove my Malibu MAXX. I was able to drive all the way to the trailhead in both rigs, just take it SLOW & EASY. There is one treacherous corner with deep ruts, but you can make it all the way to the small parking lot where the trail begins. Good luck. Wear good sturdy shoes!!

If you have 4x4 capabilities/good tread on tires then you can make it 3/4 to 100% down there. One spot towards the end is a little bumpy but go slow and steady you will make it. But do go putside of your comfort zone.
