Drove up a gravel road a mile or so. I rounded the bend to yet another locked gate. I ran into the same thing this morning at Cherokee Lake. I just the feds would put the gate at the beginning of the road, not the end.

Beautiful view. Decent hike to the tower, but the view is well worth it. Keep in mind the top of the tower is locked. You can however go up the stairs until the very top.

There was some other trails in the area but not at the top. It's so worth the hike though! Amazing 360 view
