Very nice short trail system, the main path is paved and the side trails are either gravel or dirt. There is a nice stream running throughout the trails. There is a very nice gazebo and vault toilets. There seems to be ample parking available. There is a lot of poison ivy but if you stay on the trails you should not touch it.

Great quick walk. Love walking my dogs, so many sniffs for them. Just wish it was longer. I usually walk around it 2x.

It's nothing spectacular nature wise but a sweet little park in downtown featuring the Rabbit River.

This is a very decent kiddy trail. Altogether the trail is 0.6 of a mile and is a good option if you happen to be in the area of Wayland. Although because of its relative smallness, its not really worth going to if you're traveling from a far distance. If you do decide to go, you can listen to the drills of the pileated woodpecker, and watch yellow-bellied sapsuckers and white-breasted nuthatches. The trails are well marked between paved and gravel, with some natural trails as well, making them a great fit for stroller and wheelchair accessible hikes.
