Credit card. If using a debit, they will often require 1-2 utility bills with your name, address and showing a $0 balance.
I have only rented with a Credit Card, make sure you have enough for them to hold at least $200.00 for the time you have the card out. Don't think they do cash to get the car, they want to know who has their vehicle
Major Renters. At select locations, major rental car companies, including Hertz,Alamo and Avis, allow customers to rent a car using only a debit card. Each company uses different criteria. Hertz runs a credit check, while Avis requires an additional cash deposit, which it refunds after the car is returned.
