Recently rented from the Alamo LaGuardia airport office. The service was fast and efficient. The person who brought up the car clearly explained all the aspects of the particular vehicle and rental terms I should be aware of.

Best pick up and drop of service I have had in years. Everything was ready when I got there. No long wait, pleasant people and atmosphere. Alamo should teach all the others about customer service. I just loved it.

We have always rented Alamo when in New York. Customer service has never failed me in this location. The first most exceptional service was with Babar (I hope he still works there) when I was still pregnant. He drove me to the airport to minimize lifting and carrying luggage upon returning the rental. And now Denzel who setup driving me with my now baby to the airport upon returning. The cars I’ve been renting at this location are clean. The process of pickup and drop off are painless. I wouldn’t dare rent from other companies when in New York.

It depends from state to state. But i would strongly recommend to go to DMV and let them know which states you would be visting and they will guide u better.
Depends on so many factors including: 1. How many vehicles they have or anticipate having in the period you need to rent. 2. Time of the year or week. Some periods are busier. 3. Type of vehicle 4. Where the office is located 5. Length of rental. Often the per day rental cost is less for longer rental periods. 6. The car rental agency (the brand) etc, etc All that said, as a very general rule, among the major brands in the US, I've generally found Alamo (and Budget) to offer reasonable rates.

Depends on the location.... But to pay yes. For the credit check, they sometimes waive it if you have a return flight ticket. But Gain it depends on location. Best to call them.
