Stood in line for almost 3 hrs. to get my car. I didn't get the car I ordered after all that time. The car I got was smaller, not as good on gas mileage, and was unclean inside. Spent hours on the phone once I got to my hotel to try and get a different car and was unsuccessful.

Budget gave us a damaged and filthy car and then tried to blame us for the damage even though I called to report it to customer service and was told it would be "taken care of." It had deep scratches and dents. The passenger visor was removed, the passenger window switch was broken, it needed an oil change right after we took off with it. It was sticky and smelled of smoke. When I called customer service to make sure I was not charged for the damage that was now apparent after we left the lot and got to our rural vacation spot 4.5 hours from where we picked it up, they lectured me about what I should have done instead of just apologizing and fixing the problem. Now, I get a message that I need to get ready to pay for the damage that I didn't cause and tried to report. They did not check their own customer service report nor did they fix this car when it was returned to them previously. Oh, did I mention that I paid 1600 dollars to deal with all this? Do not rent from them! I would give negative stars if I could.

I would be careful with any hidden fees here. The customer service was good and I was able to retrieve my car rental in minutes. I was also able to change my last minute drop off to LGA instead of bringing it back to JFK. The car also had a malfunction with the Bluetooth and the usb cord was off and on. I would book through them again just making sure everything is good to go.

Beware of this Budget Rental! I rented a vehicle from them and returned on time. When I arrived, the return lot was flooded with literally hundreds of vehicles and no one to accept the return. I went inside and was told “to park the vehicle wherever there was space” and when I asked for a receipt all they could issue me was my original invoice. I told them how could I prove to them that I returned it on time and they said to just leave it in the return lot and it would be handled. To ensure I had proof of return, I took a video on my phone documenting the keys in the car and where it was parked. I then received notice weeks later the car was never returned! I’m still dealing with loss prevention because they cannot find the car. These rental places are extremely fraudulent and workers are inept and provided no information. I had read the sketchy reviews before renting from this location but decided to go ahead and rent anyway due to great price. In hindsight, I should’ve listened to everyone else and stayed far away from this rental place. I recommend if you’re reading this review you do the same to avoid the major headache and fees they’re trying to charge me now

1 mile if that. If you're pressed for time,forget the shuttle and take an uber. Although it should be a 8 min ride, my 2 experiences took much longer!!
It took me 2 hours to pick up a car. Massive line, only one person serving!!! Dropping was easy

If your a fastbreak or avis prefered they will reach out to you and give you instructions. Sometimes they will wait a little bit for you to come but generally is suggested to come before 11pm. Like 10:30pm- 10:50pm

Check their website and double check their app for deals. Be cautious of the policy on their toll tag though, they charge an extra $10/day and you don't get the discounted rate. So if you have your own, bring it!
