Depends on the trail but i would say to do Rattlesnake Gultch trail. It is not very long or hard. It is a hike most people from out of town do.
I'd say is moderate at it's hardest unless you're bouldering or rock climbing with gear. Elevation isn't so high that one gets out of breath fast, like at 10K feet.
I can't answer that very well. When I visited it was a lot of snow, so we didn't get far.
Nothing too complicated, depends on you completely. There are trails that are begginers trails and rock climbing begginers.
Good elevation gain on most of the trails. Nothing too technical though. Go for it
Fowler trail is easiest there and is pretty flat. Rattlesnake Gulch is all inclined but isn't that hard for an active but KS resident.
We hiked with a 2 month old in a front pack, so it is not difficult.
