Love this park, gets busy during nice days at the water. Great trails and nice long uphill to trek too. The covered bridge trail is really nice, a bit hilly but worth the effort for a relaxing jaunt. If possible, hit up the nature trail and cross the small wooden bridge, it's always magical in there.

We always love to visit this park. It has many trails and a fun playground... My kids love to play in the water from the creek... Wonderful place to spend a hot day... We also love this park for it's fall colors

People are friendly. Very scenic. Lots of little trails. Plus a frisbee game thing that is through out which was really cool.

Lots of pretty riding trails, lovely fall colours.

Not bad, theres a couple of good pools and they stock it with trout every opening day
None of thetrails permit motor vehicles and the roads in and out of the park have a 10mph speed limit
There is a shallow creek that visitors may wade into but swimming is not allowed.
The creek is a trout stocked river and you are allowed to fish all along Neshaminy creek within the park boundries
You can ride horses on many trails in the park. There is a farm near the park that I believe has horses available for trail rides.
Yes you can they have a lot of picnic areas the pavilions are first come first serve
No basketball court. However you can fish, canoe in their rentals, bike ride, and relax.
Yes there are quite a few parking areas much are easy access for someone of your needs. The boat access is probably the easiest with a nice paved path that is flat and level with benches along the neshaminy creek. A very pleasant walk about a quarter to a half mile each way.
Well dusk is now 7 pm
There are many paved trails. I would go the roller blading route due to the asphalt paths. The paths along the creek and the roads are all paved.
Dogs are allowed as long as they are leashed. It's a great place to go with your 🐕
Yep, by that parking lot. There is a covered area where you rent conoes, and restrooms under it.
There is no swimming allowed at Tyler State Park. The creek is shallow near the Boathouse areas and we do allow visitors to wade or play in the water there.
There is no swimming allowed at Tyler State Park. The creek is shallow near the Boathouse areas and we do allow visitors to wade or play in the water there; which is generally safe unless the water levels have risen. Also consider some of the rocks may be sharp. There are no lifeguards, no designated swimming areas, and the water is not tested for quality standards.
Yes
The farm where you rent the horses is at a different location close by but you can take them in the park yes
No, but there is a skatepark across the street from on of the entrances, near the Newtown acme
Yes, they are private places that are next to the park and have access to the trails. Call the office at (215) 968-2021
None noted
Because the county is cheap......go to the rangers office and complain and they'll clear it . Was there today and found huge branches purposly laid across the trails to discourage Mountain biking which messes up the trails most likely put there by the horseback riding stables which are NOT affilliated with the park system ......i was ready to complain myself. Its the forest reangers responsibility to keep the nature trails clear.
Its very near by the restroom There are so much bbq all the way around
Thank you for your help. It was in the mid 90's. The lights and labor were donated by Armour Electric. I'll check out Shady Brook, but I'm 100% certain that it was at Tyler State Park.
