For those travelers looking to swim near Lake Nockamixon, Nockamixon State Park has a popular swimming pool complex that includes a one-half acre pool, two water slides, a snack bar, water fountainsand a first aid station. Seasonal passes are available for swimmers who want to visit the Nockamixon pool often; otherwise, an admission fee is charged at the entrance. The pool is typically open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day.

It is a nice place for an easy hike or a wonderful picnic spot. it is open dusk to dawn. If you looking through my pictures there is a nice hike that takes you to a "waterfall". where a mill pond was.

It's always open really. If you have a boat and are on the water you can fish all night. However, if your just hanging out in the picnic area I think it's sunrise to sunset.

Outside the main entrance of the swimming area, through out the parking area. The only restriction is you can not take any grills inside the swimming area (the main entrance). There area signs posted letting you know certain as far as the area is concerned near the main entrance.

There are several "pixie houses" that hide on and off the trails. They're like easter eggs left behind by other hikers and bikers. Next to none of them are marked. Just keep your eyes peeled for more!

To my knowledge no I've gone there with a metal detector while speaking to a ranger they've never said anything to me so I would assume would be fine as long as you stay within areas that otherwise posted

No. 10 or 12 cabins with bathroom and kitchen with full-sized appliances. None are within walking distance, never mind on the lake. Still beautiful, secluded, near lake and non-park ammenities, such as restaurants, movies, grocery shopping, horseback riding, cute town, ramps for boat trailers, canoe and boat rentals, and more. Beach areas get crowded and noisy.

It's off Mountain View Drive about a mile east of the Visitor's Center, near Haycock Rd.

Lake Towhee is a Bucks County park it's pretty close and that has camping. I don't think Nockamixon State Park has camping.

I don't believe that they have campsites. They do rent nice cabins though.
