This used to be a nice campground. Now they have new management. They claim we left our site unsafe for the next campers but never once contacted us about it, they just banned us for life. The crazy part is their campground was totally unsafe for campers. It was like we were camping in a construction zone. But we looked past that because we understood that they were trying to make improvements it’s a shame they couldn’t do the same for us. We camped here when they didn’t have anything and after 20 years of no issues suddenly we’re not good enough to camp here. They just treated us like we were some kind of POSs that trashed their camp site and that is far from the truth.

Alaskan seal of approval earned! What a cute place!!! Really well taken care of and such an easy over the phone check in when we couldn’t get into the campgrounds by the Indiana Dunes. If we come back this way, we’ll absolutely stay there again.

My family and I have been to this campground numerous times over the last few years and it is always a great time. There is so much for the kids to do on a regular basis but also always have a ton on things planned for the weekends. It’s right next to a creek which is beautiful and doesn’t have an over whelming amount of guests either. It is the perfect family campground!

We were early in the season, they were still opening. They did have construction going on re-doing and adding new sites. This did not bother us, they were very nice. The playground was very nice, they were working on that too. On Saturday the Cafe was open and we got ice cream.

Please contact the facility.
You would have to bring your own tents , rv , trailers and rent a spot out.
The season is April 1st to Nov. 1st. You pay for the year and if you have a trailer you leave up there you can go during the off seasin but they turn the water off from Nov. Til April. Great campground. April 1st to Nov 1st.
No. Generally April 1st to November 1st.
Hello James, We have seasonal sites that people can access all year round but the campground's season is April-Oct 31. Thank you for your interest in Tohickon Family Campground.
Hi, we are not open year round. Please visit our website page under reservations if you are interested in being on our waiting list for a seasonal spot. Thank you!
No, there is a cost. Please visit our website for pricing.
Hi, our pool is only open to registered nightly guests. Currently, our sites can be reserved on weekends only. We do not permit registered nightly guests to use our facilities. Lake Nokamixon pool is open to the public, I believe.
Hi, unfortunately we do not anticipate any seasonal site openings until 2023. Thank you for contacting us.
I'm sure there are. Yes, we had to up the year of the RV for seasonal spots. We were getting stuck with people just abandoning RVs. We do not anticipate seasonal openings until 2023.
Thanks to Mr. Fletcher and Mr. Maher...pool opens @ 11am and does close at 7pm.
Hi.,sorry, we may be out in the grounds preparing for the weekend. I'll let the office know.
Need to call n make reservations not sure when the season starts in that particular campground.
Yes you can take your dogs. We took both of ours and they love it. I use a 16 to 25 ft tether cable that stops at the end of our site so they have more freedom. Yes they have to be leashed, but only if they leave your site. I've seen plenty of people who have their dogs trained to stay on site, and they do. Campers are some of the most capable people on the planet...
